You Can Divorse Husband/Wife, You Don’t Divorce Family

I have been a very bad blogger lately. My grandma is very sick in hospital and the doctor told us she has less than a week. I have been taking care of the kids while my family members are taking turn staying in hospital. To be honest it is very hard especially during holiday season.The last few days really make me think more about family.

The difference between family and friend is one is always yours, and the other isn’t. We are a family because no matter what happens, we will always be there for each other. We have to learn to forgive and forget because that is part of the deal. If one day we lose everything, the only thing we will have left is our family. Nobody wants to be lonely. Read more…

Unity Is Strength

There is an old Asian tale about an old man who was dying. One day, he called all his sons to his bed, and told the eldest one to break some chopsticks. The son strained and strained but nothing happened to the bundle of chopsticks. Another son tried then another one, but nobody would be able to break them. The sick father asked the sons to give back the bundle of chopsticks. He took each stick and broke them easily, one by one. The old man said “Unity is strength” and breathed his last breath.
