Today I had a girl night out. When I got my wallet to pay the bill; I realized something was not right. A $20 was missing. My sisters and I always know exactly how much money we have. Alicia and Monster actually count their money everyday, it is their hobby. $20 is not big. But if I still have it, I would buy some colorful macarons. But now I no longer have the right to spend my money. Someone took the right away from me, and it does not feel good.

A few days ago, a friend told me that if she tells her parents about her boyfriend, they would disown her. She came from a conservative Asian family, and dating a non-Asian guy is not acceptable. Someone wants to take away a right from her, and it does not feel good
On Social Media, people are talking about Stop Online Privacy Act [SOPA] and the Protect IP Act [PIPA]. They are like the death penalty of the Internet. The two bills would “give government and corporation the power to take down entire website over infringing posts by user“.Someone wants to take a right away from my friends in the US, and it does not feel good.
Right is not an object. Most of the time you cannot see or touch it. But if it is taken away from you, it hurts.
[ I do not like to talk about politic, just want to share how I feel]

cammipham fabulous post on #SOPA :)
